JIM SHEETS

JIM SHEETS of Indianapolis, IN died July 9, 2022 at the age of 83. He began his funeral directing career at the C. M. Sloan and Co Funeral Home in Fort Wayne, IN. Sheets later provided service at Rogers Funeral Home, Myers Funeral Home, Eikenberry Funeral Home in Lafayette, IN. In 1960 he became a funeral director for Macer’s Funeral Home in New Castle, IN and assumed ownership until of it until late 1970 when he joined Dodge Chemical Company as a salesperson. Sheets retired in 2011. A graduate of the Indiana College of Mortuary Science, he was a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Indiana Funeral Directors Association, Illinois Funeral Directors Association and the Iowa Funeral Directors Association.
