JAMES “JIM” DAVID ZABEL

JAMES “JIM” DAVID ZABEL of Brownstown, IN died April 29, 2023 at the age of 75. A fourth-generation funeral director, he took over the family funeral home in 1972 and in 1974 the Hague Funeral Home in Medora. Zabel retired in 2019. A 1970 graduate of the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science, he was a member and honored in 2021 by the Indiana Funeral Directors Association for his fifty years of service as a funeral director.
