JAMES WALTER POLAND

JAMES WALTER POLAND of Conway, PA died October 1, 2014 at the age of 68. He was a funeral director and embalmer for over 40 years. In 1974, he purchased the McCabe Funeral Home in Ambridge. In 1979, he added a second location in Conway, renaming it Poland Funeral Home Inc. A graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, he was a member of the Beaver-Lawrence County Funeral Directors Association, the National Funeral Directors Association and the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, where he served as a former district governor.
