JAMES WALTER POLAND

JAMES WALTER POLAND of Conway, PA died October 1, 2014 at the age of 68. He was a funeral director and embalmer for over 40 years. In 1974, he purchased the McCabe Funeral Home in Ambridge, adding a second location in Conway in 1979. The firm was renamed Poland Funeral Home, Inc in 1985. He was a member and past president of the Beaver Lawrence County Funeral Directors Association, a member and district governor of the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association and National Funeral Directors Association. He graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science.
