JAMES "JIM" E. OLSEN

JAMES "JIM" E. OLSEN of Big Flats, WI formerly of Whitewater, WI died December 27, 2014 at the age of 57. He received his funeral director's license in 1985 after working at a funeral home in Milwaukee. He worked at the former Suminski Funeral Home in Crandon for two years until he moved to Whitewater to work with his father at Olsen Funeral Home. He worked at the firm for eight years until he and his brother David purchased the business from their father. Together, they owned and operated the two Olsen Funeral Homes in Whitewater and Jefferson for 18 years. In 2013 he relocated to Big Flats where he worked at the Roseberry Funeral Home. He was a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association.
