JAMES ROBERT "BILL" McPETERS

JAMES ROBERT "BILL" McPETERS, JR of Corinth, MS died March 2, 2013 at the age of 90. From the neckties he always donned around his waist to his feathered hats, Bill was a colorful, unpredictable friend even in his nineties. In 1954, he purchased his cousin Liddon's share in McPeters Funeral Home, which was originally established by his great-great uncle, W. L. McPeters and Dave Hynerman in 1905. The firm was sold in 1992, however, after retiring for a few years in Florida, he and his wife, Judy, returned to Corinth to manage the business.
