JAMES ADELL JONES

JAMES ADELL JONES SR., of Huntsville, AL died August 8, 2012 at the age of 84. In 1967, he purchased the Royal Funeral Home alongside his wife, Barbara Hundley Jones, a second generation funeral director, where he served as grand patriarch. In 1972, he moved the firm to its current location on 4315 Oakwood Avenue. In 2000, the firm was purchased by the Smiths', who are following in the steps of the second generation funeral directors, making this the 59th year of family ownership.
