HOWARD N. DEETER

HOWARD N. DEETER of Cheltenham, formerly of Olney, PA died March 8, 2012 at the age of 85. He became a licensed funeral director in 1950, operating Deeter Funeral Home in Olney from 1970 until 1994, when it merged with the David G. Richardson Funeral Home in Fox Chase. He and his wife moved to Cheltenham, but he continued to work part time until retiring in 2002. He was president of the Philadelphia Funeral Directors Association from 1980 until 1981.
