HERBERT CHARLES “HERB” CRAFT

HERBERT CHARLES “HERB” CRAFT of Abington, PA died August 19, 2024 at the age of 91. A longtime member of the funeral industry, his grandfather owned a funeral home in downtown Philadelphia where he had assisted his father, J. Wesley Craft, Jr from an early age. Together, they founded their funeral home at 1801 Old York Road. Craft later purchased the John F. Givnish Funeral Home in Philadelphia, renaming it Craft-Givnish Funeral Home. He gradually retired from working as a funeral director but kept his interest and license active until a few years ago, Craft graduated from the Eckels School of Mortuary Science.
