HARRY O. HARMAN

HARRY O. HARMAN JR of Lexington, SC died April 18, 2014 at the age of 79. In 1961, he established the Harman Funeral Home, which became Caughman-Harman Funeral Home. He spent nearly 50 years as a licensed embalmer and funeral director. He served as Lexington County's coroner since 1977. He graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1959. He was a member of the South Carolina Coroner's Association, and served as past president of the South Carolina Funeral Directors Association and served on the South Carolina State Board of Funeral Service.
