HAL CURTIS SIMPSON

HAL CURTIS SIMPSON of Webb City, MO died February 8, 2026 at the age of 73. A licensed funeral director since 1974, he completed his apprenticeship under the guidance of his father, Jack Curtis Simpson. In 2001, he and his wife, Stephanie, purchased Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City and Carl Junction from his mother, Barbara Simpson. They owned and operated the business until 2022, when it was sold to their son, Austin Simpson, a third-generation funeral director. Hal graduated from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science.
