GORDAN ALBERT ARMSTRONG

GORDAN ALBERT ARMSTRONG of Middleburg, FL, formerly of Groveton, NH died November 17, 2024 at the age of 81. A licensed New Hampshire and Florida funeral director and embalmer, he and his wife, Sue purchased Main Funeral Home in Groveton in 1987. They owned and operated the Main-Armstrong Funeral Home alongside their daughter, Terri, who purchased it with her husband, Reggie in 2004, and renamed it Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home. After selling the business, Armstrong worked for a few funeral homes in Florida, including the Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home in Orange Park. Armstrong retired in 2020. A 1986 graduate of the Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science, he was a member of the New Hampshire Funeral Directors Association, where he worked his way up through the offices of the executive board to president in the mid-1900s.
