GILBERT WALTER “GIL” PARTHEMORE

GILBERT WALTER “GIL” PARTHEMORE of New Cumberland, PA died March 14, 2023 at the age of 88.  A funeral director since 1968, he began working at Hoff-Stone Funeral Home in New Cumberland and Mt. Olivet Cemetery before establishing the Gilbert W. Parthemore Funeral Home in 1969.  Gil retired after owning and operating the funeral home for thirty years. A graduate of the Eckels College of Mortuary Science, he was a member and past district governor of the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association and was a part of the Capital City Funeral Directors Association.
