GEORGE W. SNEAR

GEORGE W. SNEAR SR, of Plymouth Meeting, PA died June 26, 2012 at the age of 84. He was a licensed funeral director since 1954, working at the William T. Ardell Funeral Home until purchasing the firm in 1968. He later owned and operated the George W. Snear Funeral Home until merging with Donald E. Moore Jr., in 1998, forming the Moore & Snear Funeral Home in Conshohocken, PA. He worked alongside Donald and his daughter, Dayle Malantonio until earlier this year. He was a member of the Montgomery County Funeral Directors Association, Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. He graduated from Eckels-Temple College in 1953.
