GEORGE E. PETERSON of Galesburg, IL died February 24, 2022 at the age of 75. A licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1968, he began working for Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Home in 1964 and was co-owner of the firm from 1988-2017, with Dave Pearson and Wayne Hull. After 50 years of funeral service, Peterson retired as president of Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Home in 2017. He graduated from the Wisconsin Institute of Mortuary Science in 1968.
