GEORGE IRVIN GREEN

GEORGE IRVIN GREEN of Munhall, PA died August 30, 2011 at the age of 96. He was the founder and former president of the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc established in 1941. He was past trustee of the Allegheny County Funeral Directors Association and received a special recognition in 2005 for his longtime dedication to the funeral service and affiliation with the association. In 2010, he was acknowledged by the Pennsylvania State Funeral Directors Association for having the oldest practicing funeral director license. He was a graduate of the Cincinnati College of Embalming.
