GEORGE W DAVIS

GEORGE W. DAVIS of Danville, VA died December 11, 2021 at the age of 92. He began his career in the funeral industry working for his aunt at McKee Funeral Home and then went on to work at Colbert Funeral Home in Gretna for a short time. After receiving his funeral directors' licenses in 1964, he began working for Swicegood Funeral Home as a funeral director and vice president. Davis continued to work for Swicegood-Baker Funeral Home until his health would not allow him to work.
