G. SCOTT SMITH

G. SCOTT SMITH of Columbus, OH died June 11, 2023 at the age of 73. He began his career running ambulance calls for Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover and C & C Ambulance Service in New Philadelphia.

Smith served as a licensed funeral director and embalmer for over forty years at a family-owned funeral home in Columbus and most recently at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home in Worthington before retiring due to health issues. A 1975 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, he was a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association.
