G. JAMES BOSMA

G. JAMES BOSMA of Tempe, AZ formerly of Fulton, IL died December 11, 2015 at the age of 86. In 1963, he purchased Sikkema Funeral Home in Fulton and established Bosma Funeral Home. In 1979, he purchased Tomlinson Funeral Home in Morrison and his son, James D. Bosma, joined him in partnership. In 1987, the Renkes-Reynolds Funeral Home of Morrison joined together to establish the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Homes. He established and managed the River Bend Ambulance from 1976 to 1980. Jim retired as a licensed funeral director in 1992. He graduated from the Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Chicago and the National Foundation of Funeral Management in Ev-anston. He served as deputy Whiteside County coroner and was a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Illinois Funeral Directors Association and the Northern Illinois Funeral Directors Association.
