FRANK M. PROUT

FRANK M. PROUT of Hutchinson Island, FL died December 28, 2016 at the age of 92. A licensed funeral director since 1948, he was also a certified public accountant. He operated an accounting service while also working at Prout Funeral Home, a firm founded by his father, Michael C. Prout in 1924 and is presently owned and operated by his son, Bob and daughter-in-law, Meg. He graduated from the McAllister School of Embalming in 1947 and Seton Hall University in 1959 with a Bachelor's in Accounting. He was a member of the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association and the Essex, Union &West Hudson Funeral Directors Association.
