FRANK A. KOREN

FRANK A. KOREN of Churchill, PA died January 21, 2015 at the age of 101. He began his career as a licensed funeral director in 1940 at the Kroos Funeral Home in Sheboygan, WI. In 1957, he moved to Pittsburgh to serve families at the former H. Samson Funeral Home in Oakland for 40 years. After retiring from H. Samson, he became a valued staff member with the Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home, where he worked part-time until his late 90's. He was a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association and the Allegheny County Funeral Directors Association.
