ERVIN ROBERT "BOB" PAPE

ERVIN ROBERT "BOB" PAPE III of Danville, IL died September 18, 2013 at the age of 70. He was a licensed Illinois, Indiana and Florida funeral director, embalmer and fourth generation owner of Paper Funeral Home. In 1985 and 1995, the Pape Botanical Gardens and a crematory were added to the facility. In 1977, he purchased Berhalter Funeral Home, operating it until 1984. He donated the building to the Christian Home for Youth in 1995, and it was later transferred to the Illiana Genealogy Society. He was a member of the Illinois Funeral Directors Association, the Indiana Funeral Directors Association and the Florida Funeral Directors Association. He graduated from the Indiana School of Mortuary Science in 1966.
