ERNEST W. MILLS

ERNEST W. MILLS of Richmond, IN died March 22, 2024 at the age of 89. A funeral director, he was employed for 10 years by Donan & Son Funeral Home and Welfer Funeral Home. Mills and his wife, Betty purchased both firms in 1967 and established the firm of Doan & Mills at the current location in 1974. A 1959 graduate of the Indiana College of Mortuary Science, he was past president of the 5th District of the Indiana Funeral Directors Association and had served on the Hightower Services Board for the association.
