EMILY ANN DE LA CRUZ (nѐe FOSS) of Los Angeles, CA died November 20, 2025 at the age of 38. Known as the Funeral Law Lady, she was an accomplished attorney widely respected for her expertise in mortuary law and a highly sought-after public speaker who counseled countless funeral homes and funeral professionals across the United States and Canada. A 2013 graduate of the Seattle University of Law, Emily served as general counsel for the Washington State Funeral Directors Association.
