EDWARD P. MAZUR

EDWARD P. MAZUR of Ludlow, MA and Stratton Mountain, VT died March 15, 2014 at the age of 55. He was a licensed funeral director and embalmer at his family's business, Kapinos Funeral Home for many years. In 1984, the firm was renamed Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home to reflect the heritage ownership. He also worked for several area funeral homes as member of their adjunct staff. He was a member of the Massachusetts Funeral Directors Association, the National Funeral Directors Association and the International Order of the Golden Rule. In 2004, he was appointed to the Massachusetts State Board of Registration in Embalming and Funeral Directing by Governor W. Mitt Romney, and has served as secretary and chairman. He was currently serving as a board member of the Funeral Service Foundation.
