EDWARD J. FITZGERALD

EDWARD J. FITZGERALD of Elephant Butte, NM died June 27, 2022 at the age of 89. He joined his father, Robert M. Fitzgerald at the French Family Funeral Homes in Albuquerque. In the early 60’s, Ed and his father opened Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Home. A graduate of the Worsham College of Mortuary Science, he was a member of the International Order of the Golden Rule, president of the National Funeral Directors Association from 1974-1975 and was appointed to the Task Force on Professional Certification, now known as the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practitioners.
