EDWARD "ED" GEORGE DEISLER

EDWARD "ED" GEORGE DEISLER of Saginaw, MI died March 9, 2016 at the age of 91. He served the community of Saginaw as a licensed funeral director for more than 68 years. He was a third generation funeral director and president of Deisler Funeral Home from 1951 until he retired in 1989. He was extremely proud that the Deisler Funeral Home was, and still is, the oldest funeral home in the Saginaw community founded in 1888, continuing to serve the community 128 years later through his son Thomas, a fourth generation funeral director and owner. He attended Wayne State University, where he obtained his mortuary science licenses.
