DOUGLAS “DOUG” TWIBELL of Aberdeen, WA died July 5, 2025 at the age of 84. A funeral director for 65 years, he was the former owner of Mills & Mills Funeral Directors of Olympia and Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen. A policy board member for the National Funeral Directors Association, Doug was past president of the Washington State Funeral Directors Association and was honored as the Funeral Director of the Year in 2005 and 2022. He also received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the association.
