DOUGLAS FRANCIS SHELBY

DOUGLAS FRANCIS SHELBY of Covington, IN died September 3, 2024 at the age of 69. A licensed Indiana and Illinois funeral director since 1986, he worked at Shelby Funeral Home for thirty-seven years and had formerly operated Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Shelby served as Fountain County Coroner for eight years and a deputy for eight years. A 1986 graduate of the Mid-America College of Funeral Service, he was a member of the Indiana Funeral Directors Association, Vermilion County Funeral Directors Association, Indiana Coroners Association and was vice president of the Vermilion County Funeral Directors Association.
