DOROTHY E. DAY

DOROTHY E. DAY of Toledo, OH died March 28, 2020 at the age of 93. She and her husband, the late James Day, founded The House of Day Funeral Service in Toledo in 1964. A Licensed Funeral Director since 1969, she oversaw the construction of a new facility in 1990. Her legacy continues through her family of funeral directors: her children, Cassandra Moore and Michael Day, Sr., grandson, Michael Day, II, and daughter‐in‐law, Alison Day. She was a member of the National, Ohio, and Northwest Ohio Funeral Directors Associations.
