DORLA “DODIE” LAWVER

DORLA “DODIE” LAWVER of Akron, OH died October 4, 2024 at the age of 93. A retired funeral director, she owned and operated Hopkins Lawver Funeral Homes in Ellet, Mogadore and Uniontown alongside her first husband, Bob Lawver; parents, Otis and Gertrude Hopkins; son, Ted and daughter Coral Bowers. Dodie also worked at Hopkins Lawver Mfg, which was established by her father. She was a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association.
