DONALD E. KOPPELMAN

DONALD E. KOPPELMAN of Pekin, IL died December 18, 2016 at the age of 83. He started his funeral directing career as an apprentice with Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg and remained with the firm as a licensed funeral director and embalmer until moving to Pekin in 1961, at which time he began working for William Weimer at the Noel Funeral Home. He continued working for Merl Henderson at Noel-Henderson Funeral Home until retiring in 1996 after 35 years of dedicated service to the Pekin community. He graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in 1956.
