DELMAR CHARLES HASLER

DELMAR CHARLES HASLER of Linton, IN died September 10, 2022 at the age of 96. A licensed funeral director for seventy-four years, he began his career at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home and was a stockholder in the company from 1955 until 1965, when he and his business partner, Marvin Taylor, purchased the business in full. They operated the business together until Taylor’s retirement in 1976 when Hasler became president and sole owner.  Delmar remained part of the business until his long-time employees purchased it in 2004. A 1948 graduate of the Indiana College of Mortuary Science, he served two terms as Greene County Coroner.
