DEAN E TRENT

DEAN E. TRENT of Kingsport, TN died February 22, 2021 at the age of 85. He began his career as a funeral director at Gate City Funeral Home in 1959. He worked alongside his wife, Martha, his three daughters Judy, Deana and Jodi, as well as his nephew, Brent Warner at the Carter-Trent Funeral Homes in Kingsport, Church Hill and Scotts County, which he owned and operated since 1991. He was a founding member of the Independent Funeral Directors Association and served on the advisory board for the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association.
