DEAN A. TALCOTT

DEAN A. TALCOTT of Potsdam, NY died January 8, 2015 at the age of 73. He worked as a licensed New York funeral director at Garner Funeral Home and also funeral homes in Bronxville and Rome. In September of 1980, he and his wife, Cynthia Cook purchased Garner Funeral Home from George and Ruth Garner. They operated it until 2001, when an opportunity came to sell the business. He continued to have an active role in the funeral home until his death. In 1963, he graduated from the Simmons Embalming School and was a member of the Bayside Cemetery Association.
