DEAN FLETCHER LADUSAU

DEAN FLETCHER LADUSAU of Enid, OK died December 29, 2021 at the age of 96. He worked for Henninger-Allen Funeral Home for twenty-three years as a licensed funeral director and ambulance driver. Upon leaving employment with Henninger-Allen, Ladusau partnered with Jack Evans, and in 1970 built and operated Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, where he worked until the age of eighty-eight when his health forced him to retire. A graduate of the Cincinnati School of College Science, he was appointed to serve on the Oklahoma State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers in 1995. In 1999, Ladusau was honored by members of the Oklahoma Funeral Directors Association with an award pin for being active in the funeral business for fifty years. In 2007, he was named the 2007-2008 Oklahoma Funeral Director of the year.
