DAVID LEON “DAVE” HUTTON

DAVID LEON “DAVE” HUTTON of Moscow, ID died June 12, 2023 at the age of 66. Dave began working at Short’s Funeral Chapel in 1986. He and his wife, Terry, purchased the firm in 2008. Dave served his apprenticeship at Gibson’s Funeral Home in Boise and had previously worked for Cloverdale Funeral Homes until 1982 and O’Conner Funeral Homes in Great Falls, MT from 1983-1986. A 1978 graduate of the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science, he was a member of the Idaho Funeral Service Association and the Idaho State Board of Morticians.
