DAVID MICHAEL “MIKE” EVERLY

DAVID MICHAEL “MIKE” EVERLY of Owensboro, KY died May 14, 2022 at the age of 78. A licensed funeral director since 1962, he worked at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home in Louisville while attending mortuary school. Upon moving to Hartford, Everly joined Birkhead Funeral Home, which was owned by Haley McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home. In 1978, he was named president of Haley McGinnis & Owensboro and in 1998 Everly and his wife, Kay became sole owners of Haley McGinnis Funeral Home.
