DARRYL J HART

DARRYL J. HART of Asheville, NC died July 1, 2021 at the age of 59. A funeral director since 1985, he joined his father at Hart Funeral Service. Upon his father's death, Hart became owner and operator. A graduate of the Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service, he was a member of the Pi Sigma Eta National Morticians Fraternity. Hart received the Professional of the Year award in 2002 from the Funeral Director and Morticians Association of North Carolina. He was also a member of the Western District Funeral Directors and Morticians Association of North Carolina, National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, North Carolina Funeral Directors Association, and the National Funeral Directors Association.
