CURTIS L. SIMPSON

CURTIS L. SIMPSON SR of Los Angeles, CA died September 12, 2016 at the age of 67. He was a licensed funeral director and mortician for 40 years, having worked at the historic Barnum Funeral Home in Americus, GA and later founded the Simpson Family Mortuary, which consisted of five locations throughout California that he formerly owned and operated. A graduate of Cypress College, he was a member of the California Funeral Directors Association, California Funeral Directors and Embalmers Associations, 100 Black Men of Funeral Service, and was the former past president of the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association.
