CHARLES "C.J." JOHN MACKEY

CHARLES "C.J." JOHN MACKEY of Baton Rouge, LA died November 17, 2021 at the age of 88. A funeral director, he served his internship at Dorothy Lawless Mortuary in New Orleans before opening Armstrong and Mackey Funeral Home in 1987. It later became Carney and Mackey Funeral Home and then Charles Mackey Funeral Home. He was the president and sole owner of the firm until his health declined in 2019. Mackey graduated from Delgaldo Community College with a degree in mortuary science.
