CHARLES F. GRECO

CHARLES F. GRECO of Murrells Inlet, SC formerly of Fairmont and Weirton died August 12, 2023 at the age of 88. He started his career at Hertnick’s Funeral Home, driving ambulance and service cars. Greco and his wife, Patty owned and operated the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home for over forty years. A 1953 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, he was a member of the National Selected Morticians. Greco served the West Virginia Board of Funeral Service Examiners for 17 years and was first West Virginian to serve as president of the International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards and the American Board of Funeral Service Education.
