CARLTON T. BROOKS

CARLTON T. BROOKS of Richmond, VA died March 3, 2025 at the age of 98. A funeral director since 1951, he partnered with Oscar F. Howard to establish the Brooks-Howard Funeral Home in Richmond, which closed seven years later. Brooks spent several years at Lightfoot Funeral Home before re-opening the former Brooks-Howard building under a new name, Carlton T. Brooks Funeral Home in 1963. He graduated from the Eckels College of Mortuary Science.
