C. EDWARD HINDLE

C. EDWARD HINDLE of Sparta, NY died July 3, 2018 at the age of 81. He served his apprenticeship with Leo F. Kearnes Funeral Home in Queens, NY before being employed as a licensed funeral director at the Sanderson Funeral Home in Seneca Falls. He partnered with Walter E. Baird at Baird Funeral Home in Danville and later bought his portion of the business, which he operated as Hindle Funeral Home. His son, Carl and wife Lisa assumed operation of the business after he retired in 1955. He graduated from the Simmons School of Embalming and Mortuary Science in 1957.
