BERNARD H. "BERNIE" SUESS

BERNARD H. "BERNIE" SUESS of Perkasie, PA died March 31, 2014 at the age of 86. He was a funeral director at Kirk & Nice Funeral Home in Philadelphia before, along with his wife, Joan C. Suess, purchasing the former Benner Funeral Home in Perkasie in 1960. The firm became known as the Benner-Suess Funeral Home, and later the Bernard Suess Funeral Home. He retired in 1999. He was a member of the National Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, and the Order of the Golden Rule. He graduated from the Eckel's College of Mortuary Science.
