ALFRED J. "FRED"/"AJ" MENARD

ALFRED J. "FRED"/"AJ" MENARD III of South Yarmouth, MA died February 28, 2014 at the age of 80. He was a second generation funeral director at Menard Funeral Home, now known as the Menard-Lacoture Funeral Home, where he worked alongside his late father who founded the firm in Manville, RI in 1935. In 1956, they expanded their firm to include a branch in Woonsocket, RI. He continued to serve families in the area until his retirement in 1999. He was a 45 year member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Rhode Island Funeral Directors Association.
