ALEXANDER JAN SCOTT

ALEXANDER JAN SCOTT of Avon, CT died June 29, 2020 at the age of 48. A funeral director for 25 years, he was director of public relations at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes (Newington Memorial and Burritt Hill). A graduate of the Simmons Institute of Funeral Service, he was a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner, a Certified Pre-planning Consultant and a Certified Cremation Services Provider. Scott was currently president of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association.
